Fake Jigen (real name unknown) is a character from Lupin the Third Part II.
Character History[]
Fake Jigen is an employee of Nagata Heavy Industries who works with the president's son posing as Fake Lupin III and another employee Fake Goemon. Very little is known about him outside that unlike Fake Lupin and Fake Goemon, he has access to a Smith & Wesson Model 19. He is panicky and he seems to handle the money as he was desperate to grab the banknotes.
He along with Fake Lupin and his co-worker had been hiding in a disused building. After the message of "Lupin" played out on the news, he had switched off the TV and Maki Oyamada had arrived with the LAMBDA robot giving the president's son a bag. Fake Jigen was willing to split with Maki however she had no interest in them, he was about to grab the bag however Fake Lupin elbowed him saying that he forgot his goal and his co-worker wanted to do it for peace. The goal is to tell people how dangerous the LAMBDA is and requires the use of Maki who pilots the machine. Later he was pushed out by the president's son as he grabbed the notes that Fake Jigen had as he was talking to his father, he quickly kissed the notes while Fake Lupin was distracted. He had phoned up the police when it discovered Lupin III's location on TV however he panicked as he forgot to remove his make up and disguise.
Daisuke Jigen had managed to grab his gun and punch his fake counterpart's face knocking him out. Him, Fake Lupin and Fake Goemon were being filmed by Fujiko Mine. The factory had managed to caught on fire and exploded, a LAMBDA carried the president, Fake Lupin, Jigen and Goemon out to be arrested by Koichi Zenigata.
