Enzo Bron, was a CEO of the IT conglomerate Shake Hanz Corporation and an main antagonist in the Lupin the Third Part 5 anime series.
Biography[]
Enzo Bron was born in Lyon from geographer Alan Bron and Italian screenwriter/actress Renata Ricorellino. He graduated from École Polytechnique and then moved to America to work as a researcher at Stanford. He founded Shake Hanz with the friends he made there. It's implied he has younger siblings.[1]
He married a Japanese woman named Yuko Enan and had a daughter called Ami. They were divorced after three years together and Yuko later committed suicide. His Shake Hanz headquarters was located in Orig Island.[1]
He first appeared in Part 5 Episode 1 where he was curious about Lupin III and called people like him heroes however his first major role was in An Outdated Master Thief. Enzo promoted the use of Hito-Log (PeopleLog in English), a social media app where it would be able to know everything about a person from their likes and dislikes to where they are going as it predicts behavior patterns using its AI routines. A person could make a statement and the app returns with a compatibility match with an A being a perfect match. The app has facial recognition and can also detect such as whether a person is in disguise. By luring Lupin to him, he thinks that his app is perfect.[2]
While it was powerful, this got the attention of both mercenaries and the United Nations as well as concerns from Inspector Zenigata who attended the unveiling.
Enzo kidnapped Fujiko and put her in a golden cage, he also managed to trick Goemon into battling Lupin due to the PeopleLog app making a statement saying that he only belongs in his "collection".[1]
After escaping from the crumbling headquarters, Enzo managed to create a bond between him and Ami.[3]
Personality[]
He has great confidence in his people log and thinks it has any information needed. He is also Manipulating, he tricked Goemon that he is just an item in Lupin's collection and made them fight. He also didn't care any little about his daughter and didn't wanted to run. But she wasn't willing to shoot his daughter. When they escaped, he and Ami made a close relationship.

- The character was inspired by many vocal tech spokespeople such as Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg, the latter who was the co-founder of Facebook that PeopleLog takes its cues from.
