Character history[]
Emilio is a popular singer from Italy who came to Japan to do a gig. The concert that he was planning to do was at the Tohto Stadium and his nickname is the "Prince of Music".
When he went to the hotel, he was scared of performing so he made a fake threat letter saying "Cancel the live show and Emilio lives" to be sent to his promoter Luciano Carnevale and his manager Claudia Bellucci. While talking to Luciano and Claudia, he wanted to get it cancelled however they refused his request.
Ran Mouri and Sonoko Suzuki develop a crush on Emilio and hang around with him. Sonoko believes the letter is a prank but Ran is worried, they decide to go to the Tokyo Skytree tower to visit. He ran away to the top of the tower when they weren't looking. Ran managed to find him there to try to talk him into performing.
Somehow he managed to fall off the tower and Ran grabbed him as she was hanging off a ledge, Conan managed to save them as he swung from a rope with the help from Daisuke Jigen.
When he was saved and got a slap from Ran, he explained to her and Conan that Luciano sets up black market deals while he performing. Due to the performer's influence, it affects the songs and the TV stations are into the deal. Claudia knows and even helps him in this scheme yet he knows that Claudia likes his songs.
It was found out by Conan that he made the letter due to no Italian newspapers in the hotel and he lied saying that there was no K in the Italian alphabet.
Thanks to Ran and Conan, his fears were conquered and got to perform on stage.
