Notes[]
- The TV Special is set in Hamanaka where Monkey Punch came from.
- This TV Special has an eye catch after Lupin via Ofumi gives Zenigata the key to escape his cell. The eye catch is a reference to Lupin the 3rd Part 2 including the same jingles except Lupin is in his Fiat 500 instead of the Mercedes-Benz SSK and was completely animated by Yasuo Otsuka. This only applies to the Japanese original as this was removed in the International master.
- For unknown reasons, Kyosuke Mamo was the last to be listed on the credits despite being a major character.
- This TV Special was the return of Telecom Animation Film after refusing to work on the series after the aftermath of Farewell to Nostradamus.
- The Italian dub changed Love Theme from Lupin III to an instrumental version in the credits.
