Brad was a character from Episode 0: First Contact.
Character History[]
Brad was a thief who came from a small deprived port town and his dream was to be in a skyscraper looking over the sea. He had a rival thief called Lupin III but he doesn't hate him and has a good luck charm called the Goddess of Fortune where a bullet is into a pendant featuring the Statue of Liberty. His girlfriend was Fujiko Mine.
Lupin went to him as he stood overlooking the river and the bridge asking about Daisuke Jigen, he was mentioning about his suit, his magnum and how he was hired by Galvez. Turning around being happy, Lupin says that he doesn't want to start a war with him even though Brad knows that he is after the treasure and tells him how the Cram of Hermes, a secret scroll containing the instructions on how to make a metal that is harder to cut than diamonds with the metal case being very hard to open. During World War II, every intelligence agency was after the scroll. Brad mentioned that someone tried to steal from Galvez and got beaten up by him causing Lupin to be irritated however he kept his cool by saying "not at all".
Brad stubs his cigarette and vows to get the treasure as Fujiko turned up on her motorbike, he went away with her.
Shade went into Brad's apartment who was looking for Fujiko, he refused to tell so Shade shot through his pendant and killed him as he left.
As Lupin opened the door to his apartment after being chased by Jigen, he found Brad laying on the floor and quickly went to hold him. Before passing away he was calling to Lupin and saying that ever since that he was a kid, he had a thing for sunsets over New York but today it looks totally blurred. Lupin tried to keep him alive however he was gone and later went to meet Fujiko to tell her the news.
