Beaver is a character of Lupin the 3rd Part 1.
History[]
Beaver is a world class jeweller who runs the Bijoux jewelry store however according to Fujiko Mine and confirmed by both Lupin III and Daisuke Jigen as they spied out, he is actually a jewel smuggler. Outside of his business, he is shown to be aggressive and shouts at people.
He along with his thirty henchmen stole three billion yen worth in diamonds at 11pm. As he was watching, there were two lights, one that is by a boat that two small henchmen stole two briefcases and another by the rocks on the beach. The two henchmen stole the diamonds and headed out on a red boat with wheels that went straight into the trunk of a green car.
In the jewellers, Beaver shows Fujiko in disguise an emerald Calcici bracelet that retails for 5.6 million yen. She grabs it claiming to be wonderful but says that the emerald lacks elegance and puts it back. Beaver apologizes and tells her that while he does not have emeralds in stock, he has a new shipment of diamonds that his henchman is willing to show her. While they were not diamonds; there was a green beaded necklace, two platinum or silver rings with stones, a brooch and two emerald earrings in gold. Fujiko was impressed and he says that he came from his exclusive collection.
Lupin dressed up as plumber enters the store and was annoyed as the customers complained, he told him to go however Lupin was looking for a toilet in a comical fashion. This caused his customers to leave as Jigen put a sign outside, Lupin asks for the toilet and Beaver shouts that it is by the back of the store. Lupin however walked directly towards the diamond necklace as Beaver called him an idiot with his henchmen blocking the jewelry and ordered him to leave. Jigen disguised as cleaner in the same costume as Lupin then comes in also asking for the toilet. Beaver sighed saying "Another one..." and ordered his henchmen to kick them out.
As Lupin and Beaver shout at each other, Jigen thrown a bucket of glue onto the henchmen's feet and on the carpet as he apologized and tries to clean it up. Instead he went forward with the brush towards Beaver and threw another bucket of glue by his feet. Beaver known that they are not from the Sanitation Department and shouted who are they, however his feet got stuck in the glue along with his henchmen. He ordered them to raise the alarm and call the police. Jigen then pushed him to the floor and taped his mouth. He witnessed Lupin stealing the gems from his store however people also noticed the thieves and phoned Koichi Zenigata.
In an office somewhere, Beaver paces up and down saying "Damn you Lupin" after being freed from the glue. In the Fiat 500, Lupin phones up Beaver Jewelry and asks for him then he replies in an annoyed way. Lupin tells him the location of the jewels and along with a henchmen, gets onto a plane firing at a seaplane that Fujiko was piloting. They managed to take out the engine and the seaplane crashed.
Beaver managed to find Lupin, Jigen and Fujiko, he along with his henchmen fired as they ran away towards a cabin. Lupin threw a smoke grenade and Jigen fired it as his henchmen ran away from the explosion. With a second grenade, Beaver ran along with them to the woods however the animation only shows them by the edge and not much further from his original position. Annoyed that the plan is going nowhere, he suggested gunpowder and ordered his men to bring it. He smiles as he wants Lupin to be sorry.
As his henchmen were firing at armored trucks, Beaver screamed and tries to run away with them. It turns out that Zenigata knew that Beaver was smuggling jewels. He tried to fire at Zenigata however it had bulletproof glass and as he struggled to run with his henchmen, he ended up surrendering himself, threw his weapon and the police surrounded him and his henchmen. He was arrested by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police.
