Anita Hurst was a character from Lupin the Third Part III.
Character History[]
She was the 16th wife of Malcolm Hurst and after he passed away, she wanted The Angel Collection that was left to his daughter Flora Hurst. She runs an underground casino on a ship and is assumed to have his possessions as well as control in their underworld empire. Also, she gives orders to her henchmen.
In the tower where Flora was held, there was a security camera looking at her however Lupin III shot the camera and left with her on a hand glider. While her henchman was about to shoot the hand glider, she ordered him not to as she did not want Flora getting shot by a stray bullet and tells him that she became the late wife in order to inherit the collection worth millions of dollars. She wouldn't let them get away and instead she ordered her other henchmen to try to get her however Lupin avoided them.
On her casino ship, she was annoyed with her henchmen as they did not manage to get Flora. They tell her no and that some third rate thief named Lupin was running with her, she then tells them that she knows what Lupin was planning and orders her henchmen to get her before he finds out about them. Her henchman tells her yes and that he won't fail again as they look for Lupin in a helicopter.
She caught Flora who went to the ship due to that they were planning a heist together and tied her up in a room, she asked her the location of The Angel Collection as she didn't want any trouble but she refused and would rather die. Then she pointed her gun at Flora pushing her to tell as she wanted to know what Malcolm had told Flora but she says that she's not afraid of death. She pities Flora as she could sit and watch while she takes the collection for herself. Just as she was about to shoot, Lupin shot her hand causing her gun to drop, he then went to Flora while aiming his Walther P38 at her. She ordered her henchmen to kill them however Daisuke Jigen shot and disarmed their weapons away.
As her henchmen were dealt with, Lupin and Flora run away yet she goes to her henchmen to go after them. Somehow they fired but ended up firing on barrels of oil. Flora was unable to go on and collapsed as her time has come. She was by the wall around the corner watching Flora's final speech to Lupin, she then fired and Flora went towards her knowing that she will die.
Suddenly the ship started to catch on fire and she stood there, it is unknown whether she is still alive when the ship was burnt. It is likely that she died in the fire.
