Music[]

The official soundtrack of the movie was originally released on August 24, 2005 in "LUPIN THE THIRD TACTICS OF ANGEL ORIGINAL SOUND TRACK" [2].

The opening theme is Theme from Lupin III '80 (2005 Version) and the ending theme is "Fragments of a Dream", a song composed by Yuji Ohno and performed by DOUBLE.

Mistakes[]

  • When Lupin is smoking outside with an empty window showing Sophie inside the ruin, his cigarette butt is purple instead of brown. This happens twice due to recycled footage.

Notes[]

  • In the Italian dub, this was the last TV special that featured Roberto Del Giudice as the voice of Lupin. He died two weeks before the Italian air date. Also during its repeat airing on March 4 2020, the ending was cut off halfway through the credits not showing what happened to the Original Metal Sphere.
  • This was the last Lupin the 3rd animation to be released on VHS.
  • This was the first TV Special to be credited as MP Works (aka Monkey Punch Works, M.P. Works) run by Monkey Punch's son Shuhei Katō however he was not involved with the anime until 2012. It is also the first TV Special to list the Lupin III Official Magazine.
